#, 12_2KI_18_17  And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rabshakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land. #, 12_2KI_15_19  [And] Pul the king of Assyria came against the land_ and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand. #, 12_2KI_14_09  And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that [was] in Lebanon sent to the cedar that [was] in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife_ and there passed by a wild beast that [was] in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle. #, 12_2KI_13_18  And he said, Take the arrows. And he took [them]. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. #, 12_2KI_13_16  And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand [upon it]_ and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands. #, 12_2KI_13_14  Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. #, 12_2KI_13_07  Neither did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them like the dust by threshing. #, 12_2KI_13_04  And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him_ for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them. #, 12_2KI_09_27  But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw [this], he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. [And they did so] at the going up to Gur, which [is] by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there. #, 12_2KI_08_07  And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither. #, 12_2KI_07_06  For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, [even] the noise of a great host_ and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. #, 12_2KI_06_26  And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king. #, 12_2KI_06_21  And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite [them]? shall I smite [them]? #, 12_2KI_06_12  And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king_ but Elisha, the prophet that [is] in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. #, 12_2KI_06_11  Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not show me which of us [is] for the king of Israel? #, 12_2KI_06_10  And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice. #, 12_2KI_06_09  And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down. #, 12_2KI_06_08  Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place [shall be] my camp. #, 12_2KI_05_08  And it was [so], when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel. #, 12_2KI_05_07  And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, [Am] I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me. #, 12_2KI_05_06  And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have [therewith] sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy. #, 12_2KI_05_05  And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand [pieces] of gold, and ten changes of raiment. #, 12_2KI_05_01  Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria_ he was also a mighty man in valour, [but he was] a leper. #, 12_2KI_03_26  And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through [even] unto the king of Edom_ but they could not. #, 12_2KI_03_14  And Elisha said, [As] the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee. #, 12_2KI_03_13  And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay_ for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab. #, 12_2KI_03_12  And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him. #, 12_2KI_03_11  But Jehoshaphat said, [Is there] not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may inquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here [is] Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah. #, 12_2KI_03_10  And the king of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab! #, 12_2KI_03_09  So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom_ and they fetched a compass of seven days' journey_ and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them. #, 12_2KI_03_07  And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me_ wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up_ I [am] as thou [art], my people as thy people, [and] my horses as thy horses. #, 12_2KI_03_05  But it came to pass, when Ahab was dead, that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel. #, 12_2KI_03_04  And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, with the wool. #, 12_2KI_01_03  But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, [Is it] not because [there is] not a God in Israel, [that] ye go to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? #, 12_2KI_03_07  And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me_ wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword. #, 14_2CH_32_11  Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria? #, 14_2CH_32_07  Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that [is] with him_ for [there be] more with us than with him_ #, 14_2CH_28_21  For Ahaz took away a portion [out] of the house of the LORD, and [out] of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave [it] unto the king of Assyria_ but he helped him not. #, 14_2CH_28_05  Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought [them] to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter. #, 14_2CH_27_05  He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third. #, 14_2CH_25_23  And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits. #, 14_2CH_25_21  So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, [both] he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which [belongeth] to Judah. #, 14_2CH_24_23  And it came to pass at the end of the year, [that] the host of Syria came up against him_ and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus. #, 14_2CH_19_01  And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem. #, 14_2CH_18_34  And the battle increased that day_ howbeit the king of Israel stayed [himself] up in [his] chariot against the Syrians until the even_ and about the time of the sun going down he died. #, 14_2CH_18_33  And a [certain] man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness_ therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded. #, 14_2CH_18_32  For it came to pass, that, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back again from pursuing him. #, 14_2CH_18_31  And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It [is] the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight_ but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them [to depart] from him. #, 14_2CH_18_30  Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that [were] with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel. #, 14_2CH_18_29  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle. #, 14_2CH_18_28  So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead. #, 14_2CH_18_25  Then the king of Israel said, Take ye Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son; #, 14_2CH_18_17  And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee [that] he would not prophesy good unto me, but evil? #, 14_2CH_18_09  And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in [their] robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them. #, 14_2CH_18_08  And the king of Israel called for one [of his] officers, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imla. #, 14_2CH_18_07  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, [There is] yet one man, by whom we may inquire of the LORD_ but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil_ the same [is] Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so. #, 14_2CH_18_05  Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear?
