~ John the Baptist ~ 40_MAT_03_01  In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, #, 40_MAT_11_11  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist, notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. #, 40_MAT_11_12  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. #, 40_MAT_14_02  And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him. #, 40_MAT_16_14  And they said, Some [say that thou art] John the Baptist, some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. #, 40_MAT_17_13  Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. #, 41_MAR_06_14  And king Herod heard [of him]; (for his name was spread abroad_) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him. #, 41_MAR_06_24  And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask?
