~ David my father ~ 11_1KI_02_24  Now therefore, [as] the LORD liveth, which hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who hath made me an house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be put to death this day. #, 11_1KI_02_26  And unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou [art] worthy of death, but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of the Lord GOD before David my father, and because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted. #, 11_1KI_02_44  The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thine heart is privy to, that thou didst to David my father, therefore the LORD shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head; #, 11_1KI_03_06  And Solomon said, Thou hast showed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as [it is] this day. #, 11_1KI_03_07  And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father, and I [am but] a little child, I know not [how] to go out or come in. #, 11_1KI_05_03  Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet. #, 11_1KI_05_05  And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name. #, 11_1KI_08_15  And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled [it], saying, #, 11_1KI_08_17  And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. #, 11_1KI_08_18  And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart. #, 11_1KI_08_20  And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. #, 11_1KI_08_24  Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled [it] with thine hand, as [it is] this day. #, 11_1KI_08_25  Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me. #, 11_1KI_08_26  And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father. #, 14_2CH_01_08  And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast showed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead. #, 14_2CH_01_09  Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established, for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. #, 14_2CH_02_03  And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, [even so deal with me]. #, 14_2CH_02_07  Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that [are] with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide. #, 14_2CH_06_07  Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. #, 14_2CH_06_08  But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart, #, 14_2CH_06_10  The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken, for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. #, 14_2CH_06_15  Thou which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him; and spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled [it] with thine hand, as [it is] this day. #, 14_2CH_06_16  Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me. #,
