~ David his father ~ 11_1KI_02_12  Then sat Solomon upon the throne of David his father; and his kingdom was established greatly. #, 11_1KI_03_03  And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father, only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places. #, 11_1KI_07_51  So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; [even] the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD. #, 11_1KI_11_04  For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, [that] his wives turned away his heart after other gods, and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as [was] the heart of David his father. #, 11_1KI_11_06  And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as [did] David his father. #, 11_1KI_11_27  And this [was] the cause that he lifted up [his] hand against the king, Solomon built Millo, [and] repaired the breaches of the city of David his father. #, 11_1KI_11_33  Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do [that which is] right in mine eyes, and [to keep] my statutes and my judgments, as [did] David his father. #, 11_1KI_11_43  And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father, and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead. #, 11_1KI_15_03  And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him, and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father. #, 11_1KI_15_11  And Asa did [that which was] right in the eyes of the LORD, as [did] David his father. #, 11_1KI_15_24  And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead. #, 11_1KI_22_50  And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Jehoram his son reigned in his stead. #, 12_2KI_14_03  And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, yet not like David his father, he did according to all things as Joash his father did. #, 12_2KI_15_38  And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead. #, 12_2KI_16_02  Twenty years old [was] Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD his God, like David his father. #, 12_2KI_18_03  And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father did. #, 12_2KI_22_02  And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left. #, 13_1CH_29_23  Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him. #, 14_2CH_02_17  And Solomon numbered all the strangers that [were] in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred. #, 14_2CH_03_01  Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where [the Lord] appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. #, 14_2CH_05_01  Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished, and Solomon brought in [all] the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God. #, 14_2CH_08_14  And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required, the porters also by their courses at every gate, for so had David the man of God commanded. #, 14_2CH_09_31  And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father, and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead. #, 14_2CH_28_01  Ahaz [was] twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, but he did not [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father, #, 14_2CH_29_02  And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done. #, 14_2CH_34_02  And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined [neither] to the right hand, nor to the left. #, 14_2CH_34_03  For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father, and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images. #,
